Future Goals

A MyZoo Education ProgramMyZoo has began spreading the word on the identification, protection and conservation of Philippine animals through education programs at the Manila Zoo and the WRC. MyZoo has also reached into the hearts and minds of students and individuals in Metro Manila and nearby provinces like Rizal, Cavite and Laguna.

In the future, MyZoo aims to establish itself in other provinces that are considered wilflife "hotspots" like Palawan, Negros Occidental, Davao, etc. where other zoos and wildlife rescue centers are located. MyZoo believes in the power of volunteerism and the ability of the youth in particular to help support MyZoo’s vision and mission. MyZoo has already laid out the plan for this purpose through the "Initiative for..." MyZoo, in conjuction, is also taking the initiative to promote the establishment of ‘protected areas’ through scientific studies and research.

A MyZoo Education ProgramMyZoo also wish to elicit national and international support on the conservation of Philippine wildlife with the use of media and schools around the country. This includes video productions, poster printing, publishing of books and environmental worksheets and the likes, and seminars/classes that focuses on the said topic.

With MyZoo’s vision of a world of biodiversity balance in mind, MyZoo is committed to make the public aware of the importance and beauty of all creatures.
